Connect With Alumni – Attend

Annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony

Attending Overview

Join us for the annual Christmas Carol Sing and Lighting Ceremony!

20161202cmas_gazebo_de01.jpgOn December 1, BJU will continue its annual celebration of Christmas as the university community gathers for an outdoor carol sing around the University's front-campus fountains where thousands of sparkling lights, which have become a Greenville holiday landmark, will be illuminated.

The BJU Alumni Association will also continue our tradition of fellowshipping around the Alumni Giving Tree located in the Gazebo on the west side of Rodeheaver Auditorium. EGive_Now.jpgach year alumni give to show our support to fellow alumni in need. This year money raised on-line and on the tree will go to the family of Trooper Keith Rebman. While on duty, he was struck from behind and critically injured leading to his death from those injuries on October 24, 2017. The money will be given along with funds raised by Heroes in Blue to go to his wife, Michelle Rebman ('08), and their three children.

So, bring a $20 or more to decorate the tree and enjoy delicious Christmas cookies crafted by our BJU culinary arts students. We will also have great fellowship and hot chocolate.
